Preventive Maintenance Contracts

To ensure your equipment runs at top performance, HSC offers a Preventive Maintenance Contract. During the scheduled PM visit, HSC will review with the customer all points of inspection, providing a field report noting all findings and recommended repairs.

Relines

Relines on single, two and three-ram balers are a specialty of HSC. We provide full and partial relines utilizing factory or HSC fabricated parts. Our crews can also provide structural repairs and additional maintenance at the time of the reline.

A typical reline consists of the following work, replacing all wear plates with AR 400 or better:

• Remove main ram cylinder from baler
• Remove main ram platen
• Remove gathering platen and cylinder from baler
• Remove ejector platen from baler
• Remove all wear plates
• Remove floor plates
• Grind all surfaces smooth and install new wear plates
• Install and adjust holddowns
• Rotate and shim shear blades to manufacturer's specifications
• Replace hold ups, guides and nuts and bolts
• Reinstall existing main ram cylinder
• Test baler operation

Rebuilds

Before investing in new equipment you may want to consider refurbishing or rebuilding aged units, as it may be less expensive and more timely. HSC’s qualified service technicians can return an aged piece of equipment to operational specifications or like-new performance. As an HSC customer, you have the ability to measure the level of repairs and money necessary to meet your own business and financial needs. HSC can perform rebuilds on-site or at our facility in Waco, Texas.

In the event of a system crash, HSC has an extensive library of manufacturer specification programming to get your equipment back up and running. HSC can design and install a customized control panel to fit the customer's needs.

HSC is on call 24 hours a day to assist customers with emergency outages. Our goal is to keep our customers' downtime to a bare minimum. HSC's skilled technicians provide electrical, hydraulic, structural, and programming support on all makes, models and brands of recycling equipment including balers (horizontal, downstrokes, etc.), shears, compactors, conveyors, sort systems, briquetting machines and more. HSC also provides on or off-site equipment rebuilds and relines.
